To keep thing brief, my childhood friend Dan  approached me back in 2014 with what he said was an opportunity that he knew was simply  right for me. Being as how we both wanted to be Detectives when we were kids, I figured he found a way for us to at least be Private Investigators!

Well, becoming an Investigator just wasn't in the cards. Instead, Dan introduced me to the world of 'User Experience Design,' which initially didn't seem as exciting (admittedly!). He mentored me, and over the next thirteen months, we  developed an app from the ground up for a sports company. He educated me on User Research, taught me Product Management, trained me in Data Analytics, and, ultimately, delved deeply into the intricacies of design. It was here I learned the important difference between User Interface and User Experience design!

I can never express how grateful I am that Dan took me under his wing and set me  on my path to becoming a Product Designer. So here's to you Dan, forever one of my greatest friends.
